1904: STRONG Family at 52 Palmer-st Wooloomooloo, NSW. This street was well known at the time for razor gangs and prostitution My father told me of German musical bands which were made welcome in their Palmer-st house and who taught him the "bad German words". Violent crime might have accounted for the family's move in about 1910 to Manning-st Waverley. Note the clothing of the two boys, with son Robert on the left, then parents David & Minnie, with Eddie on Minnie's lap.
