“ In memory of Edith Emma Strong, died 23rd April 1918, aged 37 years. Sleep dear Mother sleep.”
A sad story here… the grave was purchased by “L. Evans of Panmure”, the inscription must have been designed by Edith's only child Mildred… but regrettably, no evidence of involvement in this burial by Edith's husband John Taylor STRONG. Photo: Courtesy of Deborah Batchen, 2011.
