View from Johann HORN's homestead at "East View" Lostock, looking down the road to “Spooner Bridge” (c. 1938), now crossing the Paterson River. Alma would go to Lostock School from "East View", cross the river over a foot-bridge (c. ~1902), veer left and walk past St John’s Lostock Church and cemetery, to Lostock School.
