Map of Lostock. Note "East View at top middle, then follow the road SE over the Spooner Bridge, then past the church (C) and the cemetery (Cem) to the school (S). When Alma went to Lostock school in 1911 there was only a footbridge and the Lostock Dam (centre) was commenced much later in 1969.
