Location of Alma PATFIELD’s birth place "Sussex House". The map shows the highway following the Paterson River. At bottom R is Paterson village. At top L is the location of "Sussex House"… between the highway and a meander of the river. My mother told me that she was born in Paterson in a 2 storey house at edge of the Paterson River near the bridge from Paterson. Valma Patfield tells me that "Sussex House" corresponds to Alma’s description. Brian Walsh describes it in his "Paterson River History" website here.
