Front page of Robert James Strong's bible found in my father's books. "Presented to Robert J STRONG on the occasion of his leaving Falls Road Wesleyan Sunday School. Jas. H Beatie Super, Mrs Hyslop Secy. Belfast 22nd November 1974. The family left Plymouth less thast a month later in the ‘Baron Aberdare’ on 14 Dec 1874 as assisted emigrants. They arrived in Auckland after 95 days on 19 Mar, 1875.
Note also that Robert kept sentimental iems in his bible such as "To one I love."
